i-candy
An indie mag dedicated to producing and platforming creative work that is just as substantive as it is sweet.
i-candy is a space for creative play, both digitally and in real life, where the work of women, non-binary, queer and POC communities is platformed and taken seriously: daily treats on its socials and candy-coated bites in bi-annual print issues.
Issue 01, Coffee Ice Cream, is really about life transitions: the changing from childhood interests into more grown-up likes, and the sweet, liminal space in between. I was introduced as one of the layout designers for the debut issue, released in October 2026.

Every issue nods to a sweet treat, but the themes reach far wider: photography, poetry, playlists, illustrations, prose, collages, musings and rants. Issue 01, Coffee Ice Cream, is really about life transitions, the sweet, liminal space between who you were and who you’re becoming.

@icandyzine is officially released! I am so proud of everyone on the Coffee Ice Cream staff and am so glad to finally have the physical copy of this amazing zine! I am so thankful for @emmursss for all of her hard work in creating this from nothing! It was such a treat when you invited @leahkorenberg_ and I to join the staff and I am so glad we stayed connected after our event last year with @tuskmagazine! I can’t wait for everyone to read through our pages and see all of the sweet work of so many that went into this!

finally have some time to reflect on launch weekend 🥺🍭 releasing our debut issue coffee ice cream was literally sweeter than i could have ever imagined! starting this zine virtually overnight in june… bringing on a team of 50+ creatives from across the globe… getting to feature work and words from just as many international artists :’) truly a dream come true, aaand i can’t wait to do it all AGAIN!

Now shooting: a Halloween self-portrait series for i-candy zine.
I joined i-candy as a layout designer for the debut issue, but I couldn’t help doing a little bit more. For Halloween I’m creating a completely styled, curated and idealized costume, photographing it as a self-portrait series and writing an article to go with it.
It’s the next chapter of something I’ve done for years: every Halloween becomes a styled character study, from Hades and American Psycho to Murder House and Elvis.
