GF Creative House · The launch shoot
A whole house, built from things around my own.
For the launch shoot, I wanted to show exactly what this studio is about, turning ordinary things into something unforgettable. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, I built this little house entirely from things I found around my own home and from items at dollar tree. Old pillowcases and sheets became the carpet and drapes, leftover wrapping paper turned into wallpaper, and strips of lace became the crown moldings.
A set isn’t a backdrop.
For Tusk I designed individualized sets and led the photo direction for each feature, using careful curation to create storytelling spaces that felt immersive and intentional. For the advice column, the set is where the models answered readers’ questions, on camera and in print.
